My name is Amanda, I'm 29 years old and I'm from Brazil.
I graduated in Information Systems last year(2018) at a very good university in Brazil, and I also studied abroad for 18 months in the USA.
I'm a very easy going person that loves to learn new things and get out of my comfort zone. In general, my passion is to travel and meet new people and cultures.
Two weeks ago I began a 52-week internship at XIP as a Global talent from AIESEC. Through this program, university students or recent graduates can find volunteer work or work abroad for periods of 6 weeks to 18 months.
During those firsts weeks, I learned about the XIP development process, code quality assurance, DevOps, and new technologies.
I'm living here in Enschede and during the first days I have already learned SO much about working in a Dutch IT company, Dutch culture, how life is in the Netherlands and improving my cycling skills.
It will provide me with an ideal opportunity to gain invaluable international experience, international networking and expand my programming skills. Working abroad will present me with a rare opportunity for professional and personal growth.
